Nao Drops Feel-Good Anthem "Happy People"
The song will appear on her fourth album, "Jupiter," dropping next month.
Nao is kicking off the year with good vibes. The British singer-songwriter just dropped her latest track, "Happy People," co-produced by Stint and Yakob.
She teamed up with the producers, along with Lauren Keen and Kareem James, to write the upbeat single.
"We could be happy people / Don’t worry ‘bout who don’t need you / I don’t need no one else but you and I / I found my people / Living like happy people / Living a life more peaceful.”
Sharing the meaning behind the song, Nao explained, “‘Happy People’ is about finding peace, joy, and purpose through meaningful connections with those who genuinely care. It’s a celebration of the strength found in relationships and friendships.”
The track is part of her highly-anticipated fourth album, Jupiter, available February 21 via Sony Music UK/RCA Records. It follows her 2021 album, And Then Life Was Beautiful, and is described as “her most transformative and heartfelt work to date.” Alongside "Happy People," the album will feature other fan favorites like “All Of Me,” “Elevate,” and “Wildflowers.”
