Coco Jones’ ‘Here We Go (Uh Oh)’ Tops Adult R&B Airplay Chart for Third Straight Week
Coco Jones breaks industry record with most recent single ahead of debut album release.
Coco Jones’ hit “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” has secured the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for a third consecutive week, further solidifying her rise in the R&B scene.
Sampling the iconic Lenny Williams, this track is the first release by a female artist in 2024 to lead the chart for three weeks. Before this, Muni Long’s “Ruined Me” held the top position for two weeks.
“Here We Go (Uh Oh)” reached No. 1 in the Dec. 15 edition of the chart, marking a career milestone as Jones’ first chart-topping single. It has also earned the bragging right of being the most-played track across R&B radio.
Earlier in her career, Jones came close to this achievement with her breakout single, “ICU,” which peaked at No. 2. Despite not reaching the top, the Camper-produced song won her first Grammy, confirming Coco’s career is on a fast track to success beyond measure.
Heading into the 2025 Grammy Awards, “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” is nominated for two awards: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. Jones shares the latter nomination with the song’s producers and co-writers, Wu10 and Cardiak.
Released in May, “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” is the lead single from Jones’ upcoming debut album, set for release in 2025. The highly anticipated project will also include tracks like “Sweep It Up” and “Most Beautiful Design,” featuring collaborations with Future and London on da Track.
