Adrian Marcel brings thrilling creativity to his music with the release of his new video for "A.O.B." featuring Lulbearrubberband.
Directed by Momo Valentino, the video, which debuted Tuesday, January 7, immerses viewers in a storyline packed with mystery and intrigue.
The visual opens with Marcel stepping into a dark, empty room, immediately setting a suspenseful tone. As he scans his surroundings, unsettling sounds, including an eerie laugh and distant echoes, fill the space. Wearing a white shirt, sweats, and a black durag, Marcel balls his fists, ready to defend himself against any danger.
The scene quickly shifts to a room glowing with candlelight and adorned with voodoo dolls. A woman with striking red French-tip nails takes control, forcing Marcel to move and sit through her supernatural power. Her magic eventually transports him to another room, this time crowded with seductive women who command his attention and add a sultry twist to the story. By the end, Marcel sheds his initial fear, embracing his surroundings and exuding a confident, magnetic energy with a fresh silk press to match.
Lulbearrubberband complements Marcel’s journey with a sharp verse celebrating his admiration for a woman’s hips, face, and waist. He matches the video’s vibe in sleek shades, a black jacket, and sparkling jewelry.
"A.O.B." marks the second music video from Marcel’s RNBAY SZN EP, following "Bip City," his collaboration with Bay Area legend E-40. Released this past July, the EP is Marcel's first project as an independent artist and sets the stage for a series of releases leading to an album.
"Every place has its own way of doing R&B, and RNBAY is an interpretation of how the Bay does it: raw, real, and for the soil," Marcel explained in a recent interview with Angela Yee.
With "A.O.B.," Marcel continues to showcase his artistry, offering a unique blend of storytelling and Bay Area flavor.
